Dick Fancher

My intention as I address you is to find where you are holding tension in your body, help you recognize it, and release it.  I tailor each client’s session, drawing on a number of massage modalities including Deep Tissue, Muscle Release Technique, building on my foundation in Zero Balancing^® and Esalen^® massage. Most of my bodywork training has been at the world famous Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California, where Esalen^® massage was developed.  I am Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork 

I specialize in massage and bodywork therapies for chronic pain.  I was trained in Muscle Release Technique^®   As a complement to my sports therapy and chronic pain practices, I am also certified as a trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

Bodywork is my second career;  I am a retired executive from a Silicon Valley firm.  I live in Los Altos with my wife and son.

Annette Hulse

I offer a warm nurturing massage. I have the ability to go deeply into sore and tense muscles, as needed, or to be gentle and supportive.  I combine long strokes with sensitive detail work and elongating stretches to help your body find a relaxed wholeness.   

I have advanced certification in Esalen^® Massage.  Esalen^® massage and Zero Balancing^® form the foundation of my work.  I also specialize in  deep tissue massage, and sports therapy.  I have over 800 hours of training in a variety of massage modalities including deep tissue, acupressure, and LaStone^® hot and cool stone therapy.  I am Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork, as well as Zero Balancing^®, and I am a member of the Zero Balancing Association. 

Dick and Annette are members of the Esalen Massage and Bodyworkers Association and  Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.
